i stayed lots of hotels in hanoi. i visited in since 2014. after COVID, my old place closes in hoan kiem, so i should find another place for my staying in this time. i visited more 10 hotels near hoan kiem in holiday. i checked room condition, floors, location, especially wifi condition for YouTube. among them i got great place to stay. super nice room, not expensive price, wonderful staffs, amazing owner, super clean bed, really convenient restrooms, super wide king bed... perfect location!! everything we perfect. WIFI is also much faster than the other hotel i checked near here. due to tet holiday, the owner of this hotel served me super delicious breakfast for me on 6th floor. my room was 3rd floor to street side. location is perfect. just 3 second is enough to buy something in circle-K 24hr opened. massage shops are 20 or more near here. 2 were next door. brand new Hong Kong restaurant is just 10 second distance. dominos pizza is 1 min distance.. Hoan Kiem lake, the most famous tourists sightseeing is only 2 minutes distance crossing road. so... location 5 star. staffs 5 star. room 5 star. price 5 star. cleanness 5 star. i hope many tourists enjoy great hanoi sightseeing by staying this maro hotel. owner said she owned in maro castle and some resort in PQ island and other places for connecting tourism. next tim i will stay here, Maro Hotel in hanoi, hoan kiem, again and will visit bbq party for maro castle,,, maro PQ hotel either.

Stayed here as a last minute choice and i was very impressed. Took a double room without windows cos i wanted peace. Bed was so comfy, room extremely clean and i slept like a baby the two nights. Staff was also very friendly. The only thing was the breakfast... it could have been better . So if you are a breakfast person, u need to go out for a hearty one. I would otherwise recommend this hotel to anyone. Its 2 min to the lake. Chaqa Hill Singapore

We told the hotel that we had an early flight and they reassured us that breakfast would be ready at 6:30am. We waiting in the dining room until staff came at 6:40am to start preparing therefore we missed out paid for breakfast. We also asked the front desk to organise taxi to domestic airport but the driver took us to international airport as he told us the hotel said international airport therefore we nearly missed our flight. Also the door to our room didn’t work every time we used the swipe card so took so long to get in each time... Not worth the money, stay somewhere else. Plenty of lovely accommodation a few doors up..

Great location especially for a new year celebration. Situated in the middle of the strategic places for shopping and sight seeing. 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the famous Lake of Hoan Kiem, accessible by the elegant red looking brigde.

I have stayed at Maro hotel since some months. I totally satisfied with their service, room and especially staffs. They help me buy some medicines for my niece when she get sick. All 3 days trip in hanoi, I was so busy with many meetings. Mostly, I was absent from my room. They recommend many good restaurants for my family and hug my disabled brother across road. It really touched my heart bottom. Should you stay at this hotel as a family. I certainly come back and tell to all my friend about yours.
